An integral part of the SAAFL Umpiring Plan is the continual progression towards Accreditation of ALL umpires officiating within SAAFL matches.
At club level, ALL club umpires are expected to achieve a minimum level of Accreditation – Level 0 by completing the SANFL Basic Umpires Course. Completion of this course can then lead to participation in Level One & Two Umpire A
