Good Sports – Responsible Service of Alcohol Training (February/March 2012)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) & Liquor Licensing Laws (LLL) training is an integral part of the Good Sports program. RSA & LLL training assists community sporting clubs to operate within the law and promotes the safe service

The Henley Sharks will be fielding a side in 2012...

Our Under 18s have won 3 of the last 6 premierships, and our upcoming Under 16s were premiers in 2011. We also had 2 Under 16 sides last year which means double the quantity of players than normal will be graduating to the Under 18s in 2012.

Players who consistently play well in this grade are also given Division 1 reserve (B-Grade) opportunities throughout the year and inevitably all of our Colts are set on the path to becoming future Division 1 A-Graders at the Club. Therefore this becomes a terrific stepping stone for you or your son in his future senior years as a footballer.

An information meeting and BBQ will be held at the clubrooms from 6.30pm on Friday 10th February.

COMPULSORY! Sporting Pulse (Footy Web) – Training in January 2012

As advised at the end of 2011 the SA Amateur Football League have signed an agreement with Sporting Pulse (Footy Web) and will be implementing the Footy Web competition management and scoring system for all online scoring and player management (to replace iScore).

As of 1^st February 2012

Unley Football Club Inc is looking for enthusiastic individuals to take on coaching duties for its C & D Grade sides which will compete in the new SAAFL Div8 competition as A8 and A8R.

Unley’s reserves sides claimed their respective flags in Season 2011 and the club is looking to build upon this success with the addition of a 4^th side for season 2012.   The club also finished 3^rd on the overall Club Championship Competition last year.

In the coming season the senior grades will be augmented by a trial merger with the newly formed Mercedes College Old Scholars FC, providing the addition of skilled personnel, sponsorship and players.   Our senior teams will be known as ‘The Unley Mercedes Jets’ in the SAAFL competition only, with no change
